Yes, all attendants at Kanaksaila are highly experienced and trained in elder care. They are equipped to handle the specific needs of elderly residents, including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The Joka Metro station is barely 500 meters (or 7-8 minutes walking distance) from Kanaksaila. The home is nestled inside Diamond Park Co-operative Housing Society, providing a serene and secure environment for our residents.

Security personnel work in shifts to ensure no trespasser enters the home and also members do not leave the home unattended.

Porosh has tie-up with local ambulance provider. At the time of emergency it will be ensured that the concerned member is not only taken to the nearest (or, preferred) hospital depending on criticality of the situation but also necessary paperwork is done for admission.

Yes, there is an assessment process before admission to Kanaksaila. A courtesy visit will be made by the co-founders of Porosh to evaluate the specific needs for eldercare services, ensuring that we can provide the best possible care for each resident.
